Sawadee ka!

I'm Ju

Juthamard Morgan is the heart and hands behind Ju Thai Cookery School, which she founded back in 2007. With nearly two decades of experience teaching Thai cooking, Ju has a true talent for making authentic dishes approachable, fun, and downright delicious.

Her classes are interactive, relaxed, and full of flavour—just like the food she teaches. Ju believes cooking should be joyful, not stressful, and her mission is to simplify Thai cuisine so that anyone can master it no fancy equipment or exotic shopping lists required.

Having worked alongside five-star restaurant chefs, Ju brings a professional edge to every session - but her greatest gift is in demystifying complex flavours and making everyone feel confident in the kitchen. Each class features 3 dishes that complement each other beautifully, using ingredients that are easy to find in your local shops.

Whether you're a total beginner or just looking to spice things up, Ju will have you cooking (and smiling) in no time.

In our spacious kitchen, we created a fragrant roast duck curry masterpiece. The room buzzed with chopping, stirring, and simmering as everyone dove in. The results? Absolutely delicious! Smiley students and empty plates everywhere — proof that great food brings great joy and even better appetites.

At the gorgeous Squerryes Winery & Vineyard in Sevenoaks, we had the pleasure of sharing a Thai cooking demonstration with over 30 lovely guests. Surrounded by rolling vines and sparkling glasses, we chopped, stirred, and sizzled our way through fragrant dishes — and of course, everyone tucked in afterwards. Great food, great wine, great company!

A wonderful evening at Crockenhill Village Hall’s Supper Club! I shared a Thai cooking demo with a fantastic crowd, filling the air with lemongrass, chili, and coconut aromas. Afterwards, we all enjoyed a delicious supper together — a perfect mix of cooking, eating, and community spirit.

One of the most satisfying classes to teach — seven teenage boys choosing cooking for their DofE skills. Twelve weeks of post-rugby energy, mastering a dish each week, eating with pride, and taking extras home. Their skill, confidence, and appetite grew week by week.

A cooking lesson in the sunny conservatory brought friends together to make crab cakes from scratch. We mixed, shaped, and fried them to golden perfection—proof that the perfect crab cake needs great seasoning, careful hands, and even better company.
